Electronic Business Sets

IT Services is no longer offering new Electronic Business Sets (EBS), as it is an end-of-life product. All new UCLA Campus telephony requests will be directed to Zoom Phone—a flexible, mobile, and powerful cloud phone system. As part of the Bruin Voice Project, IT Services is engaged with UCLA Campus IT Leaders and Zoom to migrate our analog phone systems over to Zoom Phone. This transition will provide our campus community with a modern telecommunication platform able to keep pace with advancements in user expectations.

While Zoom Phone is the best solution for most cases, VoIP will continue to be available for UCLA Health, while emergency lines, such as panic buttons, elevators and fax lines will continue to be supported as they are today.

If you are currently experiencing problems with your EBS phone, please contact us by placing a Webcenter request http://webcenter.it.ucla.edu/ > Voice Services > Telephone Service > Request Consulting Appointment to arrange a replacement with one of these newer options.
