An authorization code allows users to make outgoing calls from any campus telephone number, regardless of the level of calling restriction assigned to the telephone line. You determine the calling area Class of Service (COS) for the authorization code.
Unrestricted COS Options for Outgoing Calls
- International includes Mexico and Canada - COS02
- USA, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, Caribbean - COS04
- California - COS05
- Local (within a 12 mile calling radius) - COS07
Restricted Campus COS Option for Outgoing Calls
- Campus Only (unrestricted incoming/campus restricted outgoing calls) - COS11
